Canonical Coordinates and Natural Equation for Lorentz Surfaces in R13

چکیده

We consider Lorentz surfaces in R13 satisfying the condition H2−K≠0, where K and H are Gaussian curvature mean curvature, respectively, call them of general type. For this class surfaces, we introduce special isotropic coordinates, which canonical, show that coefficient F first fundamental form H, expressed terms canonical satisfy a integro-differential equation natural Using equation, prove theorem Bonnet type for cases constant non-zero minimal surfaces. Finally, give examples illustrating developed theory.

The Solution of Laminar Incompressible Flow Equation with Free Surfaces in Curvilinear Coordinates

In this paper a novel numerical approach is presented for solving the transient incompressible fluid flow problems with free surfaces in generalized two-dimensional curvilinear coordinate systems. Solution algorithm is a combination of implicit real-time steps and explicit pseudo-time steps. Governing fluid flow equations are discretized using a collocated finite-volume mesh. Convective terms a...

Canonical coordinates and Bergman metrics

In this paper we will discuss local coordinates canonically corresponding to a Kähler metric. We will also discuss the C ∞ convergence of Bergman metrics following Tian's result on C 2 convergence of Bergman metrics. At the end we present an interesting characterization of ample line bundle that could be useful in arithmetic geometry.

Canonical Coordinates for Retino-Cortical Magnification

A geometric model for a biologically-inspired visual front-end is proposed, based on an isotropic, scale-invariant two-form field. The model incorporates a foveal property typical of biological visual systems, with an approximately linear decrease of resolution as a function of eccentricity, and by a physical size constant that measures the radius of the geometric foveola, the central region ch...
